We travel with a service dog as my wife is sight impaired. We know people do not know what means and refuse the needed dog into their hotel or restaurant. Can you advise me as to what to expect and do about such an experience if it arises? Thank you

I do not think that will be a problem at all if we can advise them previous to your arrival to the hotels. Costa Rica does have a a very strong and quite well enforced legislation for equity in terms of our handicap population, so the most of the hotels will be aware of this.
