Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin is located at the foot of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, near the town of Curubande, in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Hacienda Guachipelin is a down-to-earth, yet comfortable hotel catering to nature lovers and adventure travelers. There are 50 rooms, all with their private bathroom and hot water. From your room, you can enjoy during the day, the views of the volcano and the hacienda, and relax at night with the real sounds of nature. Outside, wide and inviting verandahs await for sharing afternoon chats with fellow travelers. The dining room and reception area are housed in a building over one century old, part of the original Hacienda.  The hotel is surrounded by lush gardens and has views to both the volcano and the Pacific Ocean. The lookout provides a 360 degrees view and spectacular sunsets.  Just off the hotel, you will find corrals, where real cowboys and ranch hands begin working in the early hours each day.

Buena Vista Lodge

The Lodge has kept its rustic and natural stile, almost a rustic museum, built on wood and stone. We also carry out part of the agricultural and cattle activity, to keep their Guanacastecan way of living. The property produces some of the food, milk, cheese, eggs, chickens, pigs, red meat, fish, beans, vegetables (bananas, yucca, corn, chili, pipian) and fruits (oranges, lemons, mandarins, mangos). All these products are produced in a natural way, without the use of agrochemical or insecticides, becoming part of our political environment protection.
